Shielded is part of a few pieces that explore dimensions. The shield in the centre is protecting several dimensions behind it but even though the shield is meant to represent protection and defence for these dimensions so that they co-exist separately, they have begun to breach into each other. It’s another look at how you can try your best to protect or defend something but there’s always going to be some negatives slipping through the cracks, here and there.
Each matte canvas comes with back hanging already included for convenient placement. The frame is made with profile radiata pine that is ethically sourced from renewable forests.
