This piece represents my switching from pen/ink work to digital artwork. ‘Bob’ is one of my older characters and is still drawn in ink, with a lot of details. He is the shopkeeper who is pointing out to the character buying goods that no humans are allowed in the store. The store and background outside are Bob’s world and the human is therefore lost …unless the human and the world around it is the normal, mundane even, and it is Bob that is totally out of character.
